Preliminary Task 3: Feedback Blog

My groups biggest problem was showing our emotion, depression. The video was viewed as comedic to the class, until the last couple of shots in the girls’ bathroom. So the next time my group films we will tell our actors not to throw books at the girl, leave out the slow motion feature when max yells at Keyton, and come up with a more serious insult than “shave your head”. We also need to be more careful with Keyton changing her hairstyle between scenes, because it’s very noticeable. In order to add the affect of sadness to our video, we should add mascara to Keyton’s face and splash a lot of water for the affect of crying. A major improvement to the overall feel of the video could be adjusting the emotion of the video from a depressing tone, to a more happier ending.
