Preliminary Task 3: Editing

The biggest obstacle my group had to face was working around everyone’s busy schedules. In order to save time Keyton used her sister to film the scenes that took place at her home, and we filmed before and after school. We only have three people in a group so it was difficult to film scenes that involved a group. We used our research from Cyberbully when filming the slow motion pill dropping scene and we incorporated the writing on the bathroom stall, also seen in the research. This shot is the main character’s breaking point in the dramatic film. Our actress had a hard time filming the scenes involving crying, because she cannot get serious in front of a camera, but we eventually got the shots needed, water was used as a substitute for tears. My group is not concerned about finishing editing on time because we have the remainder of this week in class to edit.
